Whether operating in constantly-changing locations or exposed to the elements, the M 250E and M 255E more than live up to the MOBILAIR name.
Compact and easy to transport
Their compact design allows these units to operate in
locations where space is at a premium. Moreover, transportation by HGV is simple and convenient, since two units
can be accommodated side-by-side on a single loading
bed. Lifting eyes are fitted to ensure safe load-securing,
whilst massive skids enable the units to be easily moved
into position. The skids also protect the underside of the
body from damage.
Exceptional versatility
The MOBILAIR M 250E or M 255E can be used either as
a temporary solution to expand the capacity of an existing
compressed air station, or as a permanent outdoor installation for industrial applications. They are particularly well
suited for use in locations where no compressor room is
available, such as in mines, tunnels or shipyards.
Clean and environmentally-friendly
The electric drive motor is exhaust-free and therefore
environmentally friendly. The standard-equipped, closed
floor pan with cleaning apertures immediately catches any
liquids to prevent potential contamination of the floor or
ground.
Made in Germany
The various ranges of MOBILAIR portable compressors are all manufactured at KAESER’s headquarters in
Coburg, Northern Bavaria. Equipped with the very latest
technology, the recently modernised portable compressor plant boasts state-of-the-art equipment, including a
TÜV-certified sound testing area for free-field sound level
measurement, a premium powder-coating facility and
efficient manufacturing logistics.
Tough performer
Thanks to robust technology and a star-delta starter, the
standard unit is a tough performer, capable of operating in
temperatures from -10°C up to +45°C (EU up to +40°C).
A special, low-temperature version featuring an internal
heater can also be specified as an option, allowing operation at temperatures down to -25°C.
Ready-to-run
The MOBILAIR M250E and M255E are both delivered
ready for connection and fitted with a circuit breaker
switch. Furthermore, the user can choose between
connection via a terminal box or quickly and easily using
a POWERLOCK plug – the better solution for constantly
changing set-up locations.

performance and energy efficiency
SIGMA PROFILE airend
At the heart of every MOBILAIR compressor lies a premium-quality airend featuring KAESER's energy-saving
SIGMA PROFILE rotors. The airend's optimised flow
characteristics enable it to deliver more compressed air for
less energy. Furthermore, thanks to its 1:1 drive, the motor
ensures low speeds of 1500 rpm at 50 Hz or 1800 rpm at
60 Hz, which saves energy and extends service life.
SIGMA CONTROL SMART
Just six buttons are required to operate e-power units,
making them exceptionally easy and intuitive to use.
Start/stop control and pressure adjustment are therefore
straightforward. The colour display indicates any faults,
shows operating status and even features a countdown
to the next scheduled service. A durable, lockable metal
flap protects the control panel from malicious damage or
unauthorised access.
Safe & easy to transport
Regardless of the destination, safety is KAESER's key
priority when it comes to transporting the M 250E and
M255E. These mobile all-rounders are therefore equipped
with towing and fastening eyes for transport by HGV, a
crane hoist, forklift pockets, non-slip step treads and a
grab handle for reaching the covered crane eye.
Quick and cost-effective maintenance
All maintenance parts are easily accessed via large doors.
Service work is quick and cost-effective, thanks to features
such as grease nipples for motor maintenance and externally-mounted drainage outlets for rapid compressor fluid
changes.
Environmentally-friendly fluid filter
The eco-filter elements used in the aluminium fluid filter
housings contain no metal components, meaning that they
can simply be thermally disposed of at the end of their
service life, without the need for further pretreatment.
